Leading a college or university through these turbulent times means leading change. It means guiding your institution into uncharted territory.

The terrain is unexplored and the landmarks unfamiliar. You know you need to change course—to pivot. But how do you find that new point on the compass? And how do you get to your destination?

Helping answer those questions is the reason Pivot Higher Education Solutions was created.

I’ve been a leader in higher education institutions for 35+ years—more than twenty as a president or provost. During that time, the world has, literally, turned upside down. Many leaders seem to wish that things would just go back to the way they were—back to “normal.”
To others, however, “leading” means “leading change.” In that spirit, the leaders of colleges and universities that survive will be those who recognize change as the constant and who embrace or even relish it.
Those are the leaders that Pivot serves.
